Green Practices, Green Products
Green Builder Practices:
We purchase only from green manufacturers, screen and filter our disposal water, and sort our debris for proper disposal.
Below is a link to the Federal Guidelines Program.
Were committed to earth-friendly products and fabrication practices. Our stonework is processed in a
dust-free wet shop that incorporates an in-house water reclamation
Eco-friendly low VOC cleaners and sealers as well as LEED certified setting materials are used on a daily basis on our tile and stone installations.
As a green alternative to solid surfacing, Custom Pro Tile & Stone assisted in the development of Urban Stone, a beautiful composite product made of recycled glass and cement.
At Custom Pro Tile & Stone, we assign a dedicated project coordinator to
every client. Your coordinator works with you through all phases of your project to answer questions, order materials and/or schedule fabrication, and to ensure we meet your critical deadlines. The result is a level of customer service you won’t find elsewhere, and a project that runs smoothly from beginning to end.

A sustainable or green building is the outcome of a design process which focuses on increasing the efficiency of resource use — energy, water, and materials — while reducing a building’s impact on human health and the environment during its life cycle; through better site selection, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and eventual disposal or removal.
Enduring Life Cycle - Granite and Marble stand up to weathering and time better than any other building material, natural or manmade. This has been proven through the ages. The Egyptian pyramids, the Parthenon or any ancient city offer lessons that demonstrate natural stone, such as granite and marble, is the most sustainable building material available.
Durable - When choosing to install a stone floor, countertop, wall cladding, etc. you are making a decision to use a product that will last for at least 100 years in many cases and certainly for the life of the building in most.
Recyclable - No other building material is as recyclable as granite and marble. Nearly 100% of granite and marble from deconstructed projects are recyclable and able to be used on other projects, or crushed for use as roadbeds, etc.
Zero VOC Emission - Research conducted by the University of Tennessee’s Center for Clean Products found that natural stone, such as granite or marble does not directly emit any VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). Stone may source VOCs from adhesives and applied sealants.
Breathe new life into your marble counter tops, stairways, floors . . . Our experienced teams provide restoration and repair services for all natural stone. At Custom Pro Tile & Stone, we have decades of experience with sculpture (statuary and bas relief), counter tops and floors, as well as exterior decks, building exteriors and historical monuments.
